This article came out today.

In a speech to the U.S. Congress, Blair said history would forgive the United States and Britain for invading Iraq, even if they were proved wrong about the threat from its weapons of mass destruction.

History might but, the question in the forefront of both Blair and Bush’s minds has to be whether or not the voting public of each nation does (forgive the politicos for going to war). Time will tell.
